Hok And Cricket

Northern Mockingbird Fledglings. Hok and Cricket are Chopra's kids from the summer of 2009. He brought them to me when he was stressed out trying to feed them 24/7. They have very different personalities. Hok (standing in the dish) is named after a Japanese dancer I like. He has a very sweet and layed-back soul. Cricket, a true diva, was more demanding. She would follow Hok around with her mouth open. He often gave her his worm and got another for himself. Cricket was named because she sounded like a cricket constantly chirping. I still feed Hok. He is seen taking his food back to a tree in a yard a few houses away. Perhaps he is still feeding Cricket.
