Computer Time

Bronnie was my model in two mosaics. You can see her in "Frida With Mockingbird And Cat". I adopted her at three weeks old from Animal Control. She was a tiny flaming red ball of fur standing up against the cage crying for help. I wasn't looking to adopt an animal. I was there looking for my sister's missing dog. I don't know why I entered the cat section, but it was meant to be. Bronnie had ringworm and she was just too young for them to keep. Chances were she wouldn't be adopted. I was told she would be put down. I couldn't let that happen, so with a tear and a sigh, I signed a release of responsibility and brought her home. She turned out to be a beautiful little diva. Sadly, she passed away last December at the age of 18 1/2. This photo is how I best remember her. She loved her computer time. She would sit on my lap purring loudly while we watched YouTube videos of cats doing crazy things when I needed a break from my work and she needed a break from her nap.
